John Montgomery, Ph.D., CSP, CHMM

Vice President of Safety

John Montgomery is the Vice President of Safety with responsibilities for environmental and safety regulation compliance. Montgomery holds three advanced degrees including a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree from Texas A&M University.   He also holds Professional Certifications in Certified Safety Professional (Safety) and Certified Hazardous Material Manager (Environmental).

Montgomery's worked with American Airlines for 16 years in Safety and Environmental Regulation. While there he developed policies and procedures that helped ensure the health and safety for millions of passengers and employees. He initiated and oversaw the development of an environmental department and a noise and emissions regulatory program for the corporation.

Montgomery's tireless pursuit of knowledge has led him to acquire multiple advanced degrees, certifications and professional memberships. He has been published numerous times on a variety of subjects ranging from business management to security to climate change. He is a well-studied, innovative leader in his field.
