Passenger Services
Lobby Management
Many airlines employ Air Serv personnel to manage their airport lobbies
at their major hub operations. The details involved in moving thousands of passengers each day are challenging, but our trained staff ensures the implementation of management systems is organized and efficient.
The lobby manager's duties include being an ambassador or customer service agent to help confused and anxious passengers. The lobby manager is available to answer questions about the location of shops, restrooms, terminal/gate locations and customer service centers that can further assist passengers with their immediate needs. The lobby manager also plays a vital role in directing passengers through the security screening area, helping TSA personnel ensure passengers are spread evenly and safely across all screening lanes.
The wait times associated with the screening process can be the most stressful part of a passenger's journey through an airport, yet it is the most important step in ensuring airline safety. It is the lobby manager's duty to try to make this process as pleasant as possible for millions of passengers a day.
