Unaccompanied Minor
Air Serv employees are the point of contact for greeting unaccompanied minors at the gate who are traveling on our customer’s airlines. Unaccompanied minors need assistance finding gates, making connections and sometimes, they just need the assurance of dealing with a veteran with a comforting voice.
Air Serv takes the responsibility of escorting minors very seriously. We realize that minors traveling alone may be frightened, confused on where to go and need help maneuvering through travel procedures. Air Serv employees are trained to perform their job with empathy and understanding, while maintaining a safe and efficient method of getting the minor to his or her destination. Our customers continue to receive many letters of thanks from parents who gained confidence about allowing their children to fly unaccompanied. They know that their children will be escorted by a friendly Air Serv employee who will treat them like a family member.
