Opens an Operation in Bozeman, Montana
BOZEMAN - Air Serv Corporation opened its newest U.S. operation at the Gallatin Field Airport in Bozeman, Montana on December 18, 2004. Delta Air Lines contracted with Air Serv to provide ramp services, including de-icing, cabin cleaning, cargo/mail handling, baggage handling services and aircraft push-back.
Air Serv currently employs 18 people to perform these contracted services. Nick Vitali will serve as Account Manager, serving as the contact person for the airlines and being responsible for daily operations at the site.
The Gallatin Airport serves all of western Montana, which is experiencing increased passenger loads and flights as tourism to the beautiful Montana region becomes more popular. "We look forward to growing with the airport and meeting the increasing needs of the airlines and their passengers," said Mr. Vitali. In just the last year the number of passengers flying into Gallatin Airport has increased by 10 percent. "With 4 major airlines providing service to the airport, there is plenty of opportunity for expansion with all the different service offerings Air Serv can provide."
In addition to Delta Air Lines, SkyWest, United, Northwest and Horizon Airlines have contracted with Air Serv to provide passenger ticket verification.
