Opens an Operation in Reno, Nevada

RENO - Air Serv Corporation opened a new operation at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport on December 1, 2004, to serve American Airlines, providing ramp services, including baggage handling, de-icing, aircraft push-back and cabin cleaning.

John Young has been named as the Account Manager and will oversee the operation of 24 employees. Mr. Young is a former Marine who worked for more than 9 years with United Airlines. "I am excited about the opportunity to work with such a innovative and professional company like Air Serv. I am confident we will expand our current operation to include all the major airlines that service the Reno airport," said Mr. Young. "We plan to grow the Reno operation through delivering our legendary quality service delivery."

Vikki Rodriguez of American Airlines said this about the start-up operation, "I'd like to extend our sincerest appreciation for a job well done by your Reno transition team.   Bob Bass and Bill Francoise (Transition Team Leaders) spent a great deal of time and energy laying down the ground work for a successful operation......they remained positive and created a strong team who strives for excellence. The Reno/Tahoe airport continues to grow as the area becomes an ever increasing year-round tourist destination. Since 1990 the passenger traffic has increased by over 50 percent. Ten major airlines service the airport with over 170 daily flights.
