"When we were looking for a manager for the Seattle operation we already knew exactly who we wanted to run it, and that was Scott. Scott has the experience, industry knowledge and professionalism that we were looking for in a manager," said Frank Argenbright, founder and Chairman of Air Serv Corporation. "Scott has had a successful career with American Airlines so we knew it would be a delicate negotiation to bring him on board."
Breiter has more than 19 years of managing airline services, having worked for American Airlines in its operations in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Phoenix and, for the last four years at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. His responsibilities have included work in dispute resolution, contract negotiations, public relations as well as program management and staff development.
Breiter has been responsible for managing an annual operating budget of more than $57 million and 350 personnel. In 2002, he received the Station Award for Safety, which is based on station efficiency, dependability, effort and teamwork that is required to achieve the results needed.
"The opportunity to join a growing company like Air Serv whose chairman and management team has such depth in industry knowledge and a solid reputation in the aviation community was too good to pass up," said Breiter. "The trend for the future is to outsource most all the airline services. I think we have seen just the tip of the iceberg of what opportunities there are to come in outsourcing by the airlines."
Air Serv, one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, has 4,300 employees serving 25 airlines in 19 markets in the U.S. and Great Britain, offering services such as skycap, baggage handling, wheelchair services and customer service.
