Our Air Serv personnel who do document verification meet and greet thousands of passengers daily. We ask that they perform their duties accurately while maintaining a good customer approach to security. They are the first step in providing the public with a positive flying experience.
Air Serv document checkers play a very important role in airport security. It is their responsibility to match a passenger’s ticketing information with the proper photo identification. Access through the checkpoint is limited to passengers holding tickets, FAA and TSA employees with identification and airline and airport personnel with proper badges. The document verification is a very vital step leading to the TSA screening process.
Our Air Serv personnel are trained to pay diligent attention to detail. We use “CHECK” as our easy-to-remember program:
Compare – match boarding pass name to photo ID name
Handle – feel ID to ensure there has been no tampering
Examine – compare ID photo with passenger’s face
Carry-on -- ensure luggage size and volume meet requirements
Kindness – smile and be professional, be an ambassador
